The Mumbles Tri takes place on the stunning Mumbles Bay, on the South Coast of Wales, and takes place on Saturday 18th June 2011.

Mumbles sits at the southern tip of Swansea Bay, and is approximately five miles in distance from central Swansea. Sometimes referred to as 'the gateway to the Gower Peninsula', the tidal islets of Mumbles Head mark the start of Gower's southern coast.

Mumbles and the surrounding area offers a range of restaurants and eateries including the popular cafe Verdi’s on the promenade is an ideal spot to watch the world go by!

The promenade, which is also a cycle path, stretches approximately five miles from Swansea to Mumbles Pier. At the furthest end of the promenade is Mumbles famous landmark – the Pier, with its slipway housing Mumbles Offshore Lifeboat. There are many places to visit in the area including Bracelet Bay, Langland, Rotherslade and Oystermouth.
